Boys Recap

The AHSAA North All-Stars dominated the Boys 5000 Meter Run Finals, securing six out of the top seven spots. John Shoemaker led the pack with an impressive time of 15:39.27, followed closely by teammate Luke Alverson who clocked in at 15:50.83. William Porr of the South All-Stars secured third place with a time of 15:56.28, breaking the North's streak.


Evan Christopher continued the North's strong showing by finishing fourth in 16:08.68. Caden Phillippi from the South took the fifth spot, crossing the finish line in 16:16.27. The North All-Stars' depth was on full display with David Laird (16:22.03), Sage Nelson (16:43.23), and River Richard (16:52.49) rounding out the top eight.

The team competition saw the AHSAA North All-Stars emerge victorious with a commanding score of 20 points, thanks to their top-five finishers' average time of 16:08 and a 1:03 split. The AHSAA South All-Stars finished with 41 points and an average time of 16:39 falling short of the North's dominance.

Girls Recap

The AHSAA North All-Stars showcased their prowess in the Girls race, claiming the top three spots and securing a decisive team victory. Emma Brooke Levering led the way with a stellar performance, finishing in 18:41.80. She was joined on the podium by teammates Mary Grace Parker, who finished second in 19:13.14, and Maddyn Conn, who secured third with a time of 19:16.10.


Linnea Cox from the AHSAA South All-Stars was the first non-North runner to finish, taking fourth place with a time of 19:29.74. The North's dominance continued with Kylie Gero (19:52.00) and Kennedy Hamilton (19:59.57) securing the fifth and sixth spots, respectively.


Despite strong efforts from the South's Annie Midyet (20:05.31), Millie Talmadge (20:08.63), and Emma McCrea (20:12.87), the North's superior depth was too much to overcome. The North All-Stars clinched the team title with 17 points, boasting an impressive average time of 19:24 and a 1:17 split. The South All-Stars finished with 38 points and an average time of 20:09.
