POLL: Which AL HSG had the best T&F performance in 2022?


2022 was yet another historical year for Alabama High School Track and Field, with perhaps some of the best cumulative performances in a single season in Alabama High School Track and Field history. From state records and top-tier national marks, several athletes put down phenomenal marks during the 2022 Alabama Outdoor Track and Field season.


Shonedra Richardson (Demopolis) - 100m - Richardson led the state in the 100m running 11.58 at the AHSAA State Track and Field 4A-7A.

Reagan Riley (Mountain Brook) - 1600m - Riley ran the AL#3 all-time mark (4:51.82) at the AHSAA State Track and Field 4A-7A in 90+ degree temperatures.

Crawford West (Vestavia Hills) - 3200m - West set the AL#1 mark (10:43.66) at the AHSAA State Track and Field 4A-7A.  

Rashni Walker (Northridge) - 100H - Walker ran the AL#1 mark (14.12) of the season at the AHSAA State Heptathlon / Decathlon

Janie Ford (St Pauls) - 300H - Ran the AL#5 all-time best mark of 43.02 at the Angelo Harris Invitational.

Maddie Roberts (Deshler) - Javelin - Roberts threw the AL#1 mark of 2022 at the AHSAA 4A - Section 3 Winfield sectional.

Iyanna Johnson (Davidson) - Shot Put - Johnson threw the AL#1 mark of 41-2 at the Mobile County 6A-7A Championship Meet
