Deshler standout Maddie Roberts is the top returning Javelin thrower in the state of Alabama. She finished the 2021 season ranked 33rd in the nation and is the #11 returner in 2022. Interestingly enough, this resume wasn't good enough to even earn her local honors on the all-area track team. Not sure what that's about but maybe the local newspaper should check MileSplit this year.
