What was your most memorable meet and why?
States, when I placed 1st place on my last throw!
Where did you face your biggest competition?
States. Anytime we compete against Pelham, it's always going to be tough
Out of all of your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most and why?
Winning States and Winning the 6A Bryant-Jordan Academic Scholarship.
If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your running career in high school?
Taking it more seriously, and focus on it instead of everything else. The track was always second/third to me and I should have changed that earlier in my high school years.
What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome during your HS Track career?
When I tore the ligaments in my ankle.
I had to sit out for most of the year and then relearn everything.
What will you miss the most?
My teammates and the opportunities...everything has been great.
Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
Listen to your COACH and take it serious. It can and will take you places!!
What are your post-highschool or college plans? Who would you like to say thank you to?
I will be attending LSU in the fall. I would like to thank the entire Wetumpka Community. The support of a small town is priceless. Thank you for everything!!
