What was your most memorable meet and why?
2021 State meet. I got to Race against some of the fastest talent in the country and had my highest finish ever in a state meet.
Where did you face your biggest competition?
2021 adidas indoor nationals 800m
Out of all of your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most and why?
Getting to podium 3 times at the outdoor state meet. This stands out because during XC I was diagnosed with ibs which at one point made me think I'd never be able to run again.
If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your running career in high school?
I'd do way more mileage than I did in my starting years and work even harder.
What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome during your HS Track career?
Running through ibs during this last xc and track seasons.
What will you miss the most?
The competitors I can now call friends from all over the state.
Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
No matter how hard u think a goal is if u remind yourself everyday and work hard you can complete it no matter what.
What are your post-highschool or college plans?Who would you like to say thank you to?
I will be running track for Troy university. Just want to thank my coaches, teamates, and family for supporting me.
