Complete 6A Section 1 Rankings
Spanish Fort's Carissa Jones leads section 1 this year with a 19:19 run at the state meet last year. The freshmen put up good times during outdoor season as well but was disqualified for the state meet due to an obscure competition rule. We hope she does well this year! - she has had a broke foot all summer so should be ready by mid-season.
Complete 6A Section 2 Rankings
Hunter Coker (Wetumpka) leads Section 2. She finished 2nd last year but did not compete at the state meet. Why? No clue. We also sadly have no photo of Hunter.
Complete 6A Section 3 Rankings
Homewood 8th grader Lainey Phelps ran 19:53 to win her sectional last year before dropping 40 seconds at state for a 2nd place finish. She is a well rounded powerhouse in other events as well....8-6 vaulter anyone?
Complete 6A Section 4 Rankings
OK, so Mary Grace Strozier is finally a senior. Who else would be on the top in section 4? She won section 4 last year in 18:39 and then went on to win 6A state in 18:03 for the 3rd fastest time in the state.

Scottsboro Junior Karsyn Whitehead took 3rd last year in section 3 and leads the returners this year. A huge outdoor season indicated Whitehead is ready to compete for the title this year.

Hartselle senior Abigail Davis leads Section 6 this year. She won the section last year in 19:41 and ran 19:16 at state for a 4th place finish. She is ranked preseason #3 among 6A girls.
