Not sure if the sonic boom that occurred today at North Carolina A&T could be heard in Alabama, but let me assure you we tracked down the cause.
Jayla Kirkland threw down the gauntlet at NBON this year. Did she back it up? 11.33 says she did. Kirkland who led the season as Alabama's fastest sprinter false started earlier this year at NBIN. I'd say she made up for it.
She ran 11.72 in her prelim.
