Scouting Report: American Christian Academy Boys

You return a top 5 with a team average of 17:57 this year.  How does the team look after summer practices so far?

 

We have some nice talent on the squad but we are awfully young and inexperienced.  Because of our youth, there is a limit to just how much work we can do. However, the team has been doing everything they can. The kids, led by our only Senior Jesse Kelley, have made solid progress this summer and should be competitive.

 

Any new additions to the team or surprises we can expect?

 

We have had a few middle school athletes step up their training and should vie for a #5-7 position.

 

What is your schedule this season and are you changing anything up?

 

Jesse Owens and the TCBY Invitational are important meets for us. We will make a trip for the first time to Tallahassee for the Florida State Invitational.  

 

What goals has your team established for this season?

 

Develop depth and improve on last years Top 4 finish at the State Championship.
