4A GIRLS

Meet Preview

Cele Moon has topped the Class 4A leaderboard all season with a 19:18 average. Teammate (and sister) Phoebe Moon is close behind average 19:55. The division itself is domitated by underclassmen. Any girls that finishes in the top 10 will most likely be in the top 10 again next year.

UMS Wright looks to repeat again this year. The team has competed well all season long against larger schools and despite being young has quite a strong squad this year. I saw them run at section and was pretty impressed. Wilson and PJPII look pretty close on paper but I havent seen either one run in person this year. Wilson didnt qualify as a team last year so adrenaline might be working in their favor. PJPII finished 3rd last year. The two teams face different problems. Wilson needs a tighter 1-5 gap while PJPII just needs a slightly faster team average. I'd give the nod to PJPII here I think.

Meet Preview

Robert Hope has had a good season and looked good at Sectionals. He has a stronger finish than last year and looks like a solid contender for the top individual. Times go up pretty quickly from Hope. Anything under 18 minutes should put someone in the top 10.

LAMP has had a fantastic season. Randolph School ( I havent seen them this season) is always a top contender in 4A. Both teams look like an identical match on paper. Only 18 points seperated them last year.
