Kaitlyn York (ACA) has been the state break out story all season long. Dropping a full minute to be the only girl under 18 minutes so far, York has led the state this season. 2012 State Champion Karisa Nelson (TR Miller) has a few seconds to make up in order to catch York.
Bayside, TR Miller and Pisgah all have strong front runners but a wide gap in the numbers 4 & 5 runners. While 2012 Champion, Bayside, takes the top spot on the virtual meet, the reality is that any of the 3 teams could take the top spot. The next four teams in line are seperated by 6 points.

Meet Preview
Wesley Curles (Trinity) and Ryan Shankle (Bayside) are seperatred by only 14 seconds on average. While these two are the frontrunners, both ran their season bests early on. However the next 4 runners would have to drop nearly a minute off their average times to be in position to challenge for the top spots.
On paper Westminster Christian looks like the clear winner here. The Virtual Meet scores them at 45 points......almost 70 points ahead of the next team. However the race still has to be run and anything can happen. With this in mind, looking at the next few teams, it seems as though things are wide open there. It might be a mixup in any order of ACA, Pisgah, Sipsey Valley, and Cottage Hill Christian.
