North Alabama schools and a few more southernly visitors converged on Trammell Stadium on this lovely late April day to do battle in the last regular season meet of the 2000 track season. The boys' 1600m lived up to its billing, boasting the top 5 milers in class 5A and producing some of its fastest times in years, just a week and a half before state. How did the Tuscaloosa preview turn out?
