Admission: $5 per adult

Entry Fee
$50 per school; Make all checks payable to Bayside Academy. Checks should be brought to the meet. Schools may mail checks to host school (Bayside), however, please bring a copy of your purchase order. Please visit the registration table to take care of payment and retrieve meet packet.

Entry Deadline
Entries must be made through Alabama Runners by Monday, March 27, 5:59PM, CST. No entries will be taken after that time!

Entries
Each school may enter as many athletes per open and field event; however, each athlete can compete in a MAX of FOURevents, including relays.

Seeding
Please include a best estimate of each athletes’ time/distance/mark for each event or they will compete unseeded. These will be used to set up heats/flights.

Divisions
There will be two divisions. One for junior high (7-th – 9th) and another for Varsity (10th – 12th). Please be certain to place athletes accordingly.

Team Scoring: 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

Awards
NONE

Field Event Notes
• Athletes in long jump, triple jump, discus, shot put, & javelin will receive 3 attempts..
o All throws will be taken two and then one.
• We will compete standard rules for high jump, three attempts per bar.
o High jump bar will increase by 3” each successive height.
 Girl’s Starting Height: 3’ 9”
 Boy’s Starting Height: 4’ 6”
• We will compete standard rules for pole vault, three attempts per bar.
 Girl’s Starting Height: 5’
 Boy’s Starting Height: 6’

Parking
All families should park in the upper school parking lot found on the north side of campus (Belrose Road). All school transportation can park in gravel parking, the south side of campus, or use May Day Park (Captain O’Neil Road) for parking. Please do not arrive until 3:30PM at the earliest!

Dressing & Restrooms
There will be dressing & restrooms available for athletes and spectators.

Concessions
There will be concessions available.

Results
All results will be hand timed and will be posted on Alabama Runners.

Officials/Volunteers
Each school will be required to have an official or three volunteers to be assigned to a field event.

Field Volunteer Assignments by School
Each school is responsible in having three volunteers for the assigned field event. These volunteers could be a parent or varsity athelte. This helps speed up the meet. The field judge may dismiss one or two of those athletes.

Shot Put: Mobile Christian
Discus: Baker
Javelin: Gulf Shores/Spanish Fort/Fairhope (one each)
High Jump: Saraland Middle
Triple Jump: Faith Academy
Long Jump: Cottage Hill Christian
Pole Vault: Bayside Academy
Timing: Bayside Academy/Satsuma

FIELD EVENTS
Varsity/Junior High Athletes will compete in different flights when possible

4:30 PM Field Events #1 (Warm-up begins at 4:00PM)
• Boys Shot Put followed by Girls Shot Put
• Girls Discus followed by Boys Discus
• Boys Long Jump followed by Girls Long Jump
• Boys & Girls Pole Vault

TBA Field Events #2
• Boys Javelin followed by Girls Javelin – warm-ups being 5 – 10 minutes after shot/discus is completed
• Boys & Girls High Jump – warm-ups begin 5 – 10 minutes after shot/discus is completed
