The 2015 Auburn Early Bird featured of 500 athletes from teams around central and east Alabama. Cold weather and cloud coverage kept athletes bundled up for most of the day.
Several Indoor State Champions were in attendance competing on opening weekend. 7A Boys 60m and 400m state champion, Deonte Tolbert won the 100 and 200m and 4A standout Amaris Tyynismaa winning the girls 1600 and 3200m.
