Location:
Sokol Park, Tuscaloosa

Directions:
Exit 73 off of Interstate 20/59 in Alabama. Then take a right (if coming from Birmingham) on McFarland Blvd. west. Go approximately 5.25 miles and make a right turn onto Watermelon Road. Go 2 miles, make a right turn at Ol Colony Road. Go approximately .3 mile taking a left into Sokol Park. Plenty of bus and automobile parking is available on the left as you head toward the race area .25 miles down the road.

Schedule:
Elem School approx. 1.0 miles 8:30 am
Middle School Girls 7-8 approx. 1.5 miles 9:00 am
Middle School Boys 7-8 approx. 1.5 miles 9:30 am
Varsity Girls approx. 2.5 miles 10:00 am
Varsity Boys approx. 2.5 miles 10:35 am
Junior Varsity
-Combined Boys/Girls approx. 2.5 miles 11:10 am
Awards 11:50 am

Limit 7 athletes for Varsity race.
Unlimited Entries per MS & JV race.

Entries:
The entry fee is $16 per athlete with a maximum of $80 per school per individual race (Varsity or Middle School) i.e. a school who has a Varsity Girls team and a Varsity Boys team would pay $160. Check payable to American Christian Academy Cross Country
Entry fees are to be mailed to 2300 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.

This year, we will be running a JV and a Varsity race. The Varsity competition will be limited to 7 athletes. The JV meet will be a combined Girl and Boy untimed/unscored race. For the JV race, a clock will run at the finish line. There is no cost for JV entries as long as a school has a full team (of 5) in the Varsity race.

Registration:
Go to www.alabamarunners.com. Choose the meet under the Calendar heading. Click on the button and follow the instructions. Deadline for Entry is Sunday, August 21 at 11:59 pm.ET

Awards:
Each winning and second place team in the Varsity and MS divisions will receive a trophy. Medals will be given to the Varsity and MS Top 10. Each winner in the Varsity and MS race will receive a nice prize.

Course:
Grass, dirt trails, and wooden bridges. About 10 foot of pavement. Spikes recommended.
