Meet Information
HISL Championship Meet for Grades 4-6
- Tuesday, May 5th, 2026
- Hosted by Madison Academy
- Meet is open to students in grades 4-6 competing in the Huntsville Independent School League (HISL).
- Divisions: 4th Girls (4G), 4th Boys(4B), 5/6Girls (5/6G), 5/6Boys(5/6B)
Where: Madison Academy Track and Field Complex, 325 Slaughter Road, Madison, AL 35758.
Entry Deadline: In order to seed events in the timing system, we MUST have a hard registration deadline of Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM. There will be no exceptions. All athletes entered AND any changes must be made prior to the deadline. Substitutions cannot be made in the timing system after the deadline has passed.
Important Registration Information
- Each athlete can compete in no more than 4 events total, including relays (both track and field events).
- Schools may only register 2 relay teams.
- Each team will be limited to a max of 4 entries per event.
- Athletes in grade 4 can compete in the 5/6 division, but athletes in grades 5-6 CANNOT compete in the 4 grade division.
- High Jump will only be offered to 5/6 grade athletes, but will not be scored.
- Track events have precedence over field events (rolling schedule). All field events except the high jump will begin after the 4x100 conclude.
Note: Registering as a team does not complete your registration; you need to register each individual athlete.
Concessions: We will have a concession stand in operation.

- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place for 4th-6th Grade Boys (Team)
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place for 4th-6th Grade Girls (Team)
Ribbons (Individual for each event)
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Ribbons for 4th, 5th and 6th Grade Boys and Girls (individual for each event)
Timing: ****Xpress Timing will manage and provide automatic timing (FAT)****
