FACIAL COVERINGS:

RUNNERS
: We wont mandate that runners wear a mask for any times

while running, walking to start line chute or walking back to team area from

finish line. During times of stationary activities though, it is imperative

that you and your team wear your facial coverings to prevent the possible

transmission of COVID-19.

SPECTATORS, COACHES, RACE OFFICIALS:
 All must be diligent of

wearing their facial covering during the duration of this event.

Team Tent Area

The starting line is to the west of the main entrance and parking lot. Teams

can put their team tents behind the start line or on the hill adjacent to the

starting line. As long as each tent and team is a minimum of roughly 100 feet

of one another and other spectator frequently traveled areas, it wont matter

where you set up because the venue is so vast.

Starting Boxes

Once all the teams are registered, I will assign each team a team box.

These will be more like starting chutes. Each team will have their own box and

plenty of room to spread out within their box. There will be 6' spacing between

a team box and the next box that is occupied by a team.

We are not requiring that athletes wear a mask during the warmup and around the

starting area, but we are asking that they stay with their team and go through

the pre-race preparations with their team. The layout and spacing will easily

allow for the necessary distance and therefore a mask will not be necessary.

Timing: Solid Rock Race Timing Co.

Eddie Mason, the head timer will be using disposable chips so the athletes will

pass through the finish line and keep going. There will be no need to stop and

bunch up around the finish line area.

Finish Line Refreshments

We will not be providing general water coolers for all at the finish line, but

we will have tables at the finish line with your schools name on it so you and

your athletes can place your own post-race refreshment.

Parking

We will park buses in the gravel parking lot just below the spectator parking

lot directly near the start line.

Additional parking can be found near the sand volleyball courts as well.

Spectators

Please communicate with your parents that they MUST wear a facial covering and

encourage them to spread out along the course and make this a great racing

environment. We would prefer that they don't bunch up around the starting and

finishing area. The course is wide open and spectator friendly. Please

encourage them to spread out and cheer their team on throughout the course.

Concessions:
 TBD

Restrooms:
There will be bathroom access near the start line

and at the sand volleyball complex.

Parking fee
: $TBA
