THIS MEET WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE LATE AFTERNOON / EVENING.

WE WILL BE PUTTING LIGHTS THROUGHOUT THE COURSE FOR A GREAT EVENT.

Thank you for entering the 2020 JAMES CLEMENS Last Chance Cross Country Twilight Meet. We will be running lights throughout the course this year. All areas of the course will be under lights. The course is very well maintained by the city of Madison and we are doing everything we can to be sure this event is great for all athletes and spectators.

Other than adding lights, we will be doing a few other things differently as well due to CoVid.

1. We will follow the AHSAA requirements to ensure athlete and community safety. Please, all athletes, you are required to wear your masks to the starting line and immediately upon leaving the finish line chute. You will not need to have your chips cut off before you exit the finish line area. COACHES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING SURE THE CORRECT # OF CHIPS ARE RETURNED TO THE TIMER.

2. We will have food trucks: "NEW SOUTH HOTDOG AND SUSHI" and "NANNY'S LEMONADE" and "SWEET TEMPTATIONS". 3. We will not have a formal awards presentation. Shirts will be given to the TOP 10-15 athletes as they cross the finish line. Coaches can pick up TEAM PLAQUES when races are over. Listen for announcements.

This is the last chance for each runner on your team to run head to head to determine which runners will run at the section meet. This also gives your Middle School / Junior High runners a chance to race the 5K course. This also will provide runners not competing in the SECTION a last Championship race!

ALL SCHOOLS ARE ALLOWED TO BRING 40 GIRL RUNNERS AND 40 BOY RUNNERS.

The Coach will decide which runners compete in each race.

Girls and Boys DIVISIONS:

CHAMPIONSHIP A Race - TOP 10 Runners;

B Team Race 10 Runners;

C Team Race 20 Runners per team
