April 15th& 16th 2020 at the University of South Alabama's Jaguar Track

All entries must be made to www.al.milesplit.com Entries will close on Sunday, April 12th, 2020 at 11:59pm. Do not wait until the last minute. The entry fee is $100.00 per team (men and women are considered separate teams). Make checks payable to Murphy Track. All schools that receive boys and girls supplements must pay for both whether they bring one or both teams. An athletic trainer will be available.

Parking: Parking may be limited. All vehicles should park in the Gamma Parking lot located north of the track facility. No vehicles should park in the Mitchell Center parking lot or between the Mitchell Center and track facility.

Admission: $5 per adult; $3 per student. No entry to the track will be allowed prior to 1:30pm. For this reason, teams are strongly discouraged from arriving prior to 1:30pm.

Awards: Team Trophies 1st & 2nd Place Girls and Boys Divisions

Medallions - 1st, 2nd & 3rd place individual and relay events.

Dressing: There will be no dressing rooms or showers; however, restrooms will be available. Spikes: 1/8" to " only! Concessions: There will be concessions sold.

In an effort to provide the coaches and student-athletes with a championship environment, the following guidelines will apply:

1.A rolling time schedule will be used. Athletes must report and check in on time.

2.Each team is allowed 3 entries per individual event and 1 relay team. In the throws and horizontaljumps, the top nine will advance to the final for three additional attempts.

3.The top eight will advance to finals in track events with preliminaries (4X100, 100, 100/110h, 200).

4.Athletes must adhere to all AHSAA rules.

5.Javelin approach will be on Mondo track surface, not grass. Do not wear cleats.

6.Implement certification will take place in the track garage. Arrive early to avoid delays.

7.Each school will be assigned a meet duty. Please have 1 competent adult available from each school.

8.Please ensure that your athletes DO NOT JUMP OVER FENCES at the meet. That behavior maycause them to be removed from the premises. We are guests and we WILL adhere to their facility rules.
