*We follow the standards of the AHSAA, therefore out-of-state private schools must multiply enrollment by 1.35% (grades 10-12) to determine division.

Small school division: (5K course) 373 students or less in grades 10-12 (Alabama: 1A-4A)

Large school division: (5K course) 374 students or more in grades 10-12 (Alabama: 5A-7A)

*$15 per runner, not to exceed $65 per division. Teams that do not have a complete team (5 runners per division) will only need to pay $15 per runner, not to exceed $65 per division.

COVID-19 Information:

*Coaches may pick up awards at the amphitheater.

The Alabama Department of Public Health supports the Alabama High School Athletic Association's (AHSAA) Best Practices Return to Play which provides basic guidance for schools for the 2020-21 athletic seasons.

>Spectators are allowed to attend athletic events, but attendance will be significantly reduced.               

>Spectators are not to congregate within 6 feet of a person from another household except to the extent necessary.                                                                                                                                                                                     >Spectators must wear a mask or other facial covering that covers the nostrils and mouth at all times while within 6 feet of person from another household.                                                                                                                  

>The starting line will be wider than usual. 

>Finish chute will be lengthened and widen. Also, the finish chute will be barricaded whereas there will be a 10 ft distance between the finish line fencing and spectators.                                                                                                     >The Moulton Park and Recreation Dept's staff will be on site helping sanitizing the venue throughout the event.      >The portable toilets are cleaned according to CDC guidelines.                                                                                          >Coaches should use good judgement in setting up team tents in regards to social distancing. In addition to the usual team tent set up area, please use the area along the creek, along the fence. across the bridge at the creek and north of the park toward the switch backs.                                                                                                                      >The starting line management staff will notify teams when runners may approach the starting line. (5 minutes before scheduled race time.)                                                                                                                                           >Only coaches, runners and race staff will be allowed access to the starting line.                                                          Runners may wear facial covering into the starting box, secure in hand or on shorts while running, and put back on while in the finish chute.                                                                                                                                                          >It is mandatory that a coach is responsible for returning all chips to the registration/packet pickup asap.                >Limited finish line staff will be available.                                                                                                                              >Bottle water will be available for each runner.                                                                                                                      >Coaches will return race packets including race chips to the registration tent after completion of the race.                >Schools will be invoiced for each timing chip not returned.
