THIS MEET IS AT FULL CAPACITY! WE WILL NO LONGER RECEIVE ANY MORE PROGRAMS FOR THIS COMPETITION!

For all of our competitions at Bayside, we ask each school to provide two volunteers for an assigned field event. Please be certain to make this happen.  Without these volunteers, the events move slower and cause the meet to go longer:

Admission: $5 per adult

Entry Fee: $50 per school; Make all checks payable to Bayside Academy. Checks should be brought to the meet. Please visit the registration table to take care of payment and retrieve meet packet.

Entry Deadline: Entries must be made through Alabama Runners by Monday, February 25, 11:59PM, CST. No entries will be taken after that time!

Entries: Each school may enter as many athletes per open and field event, max 3 entries per relay. Each athlete can compete in a max of FOUR events (running/field/relay).

Seeding: Please include a best estimate of each athletes time/distance/mark for each event or they will compete unseeded. These will be used to set up heats/flights.

Divisions: There will be two divisions. One for Middle School (7th & 8th) and another for High School (9th-12th). Please be certain to place athletes accordingly.

Event Scoring: No Team Scores

Awards: No Awards

Field Event Notes:

Athletes in long jump, discus, and shot put will receive 3 attempts (no finals).

o All throws will be taken two and then one.

We will compete standard rules for high jump, three attempts per bar.

o High jump bar will increase by 2 each successive height.

Girls Starting Height: 3' 8"

Boys Starting Height: 4' 6"

We will compete standard rules for pole vault, three attempts per bar.

Parking: All families should park in the upper school parking lot found on the north side of campus (Belrose Road). All school transportation can park in gravel parking, the south side of campus, or use May Day Park (Captain ONeil Road) for parking. Please do not arrive until 3:30PM at the earliest!

Dressing & Restrooms: There will be dressing & restrooms available for athletes and spectators.

Concessions: There will be concessions available.

Results: All results will be hand timed and will be posted on Alabama Runners.

Officials/Volunteers: Each school will be required to have an official or two volunteers to be assigned to a field event. Field assignments per school to be delegated by meet director.
