Meet Information
This throws meet is named in honor of former UMS-Wright student-athlete Lyon Newell who passed away in 2002. During his career at UMS-Wright, Newell was a state champion thrower in track as well as an outstanding football player. Proceeds from this competition will go to Wilmer Hall.
MeetFees $35 per team ($70 for both girls and boys)
Payments Checks accepted on day of the meet at the officials' tent.

3:30pm: Boys Javelin, Girls Discus, Boys Shot Put
Girls Javelin, Boys Discus, Girls Shot Put
Two Entries Per Event. There will be Prelims and Finals.
