Parking is located on the west side of the park.
Tents: There will be a designated area for all team tents.
Directions
From I-10: Take Exit 44 and go South on AL-59; Park will be on the right after 1 Mile.
From I-65: Take Exit 37 and go South on AL-287; AL-287 turns into AL-59; Go south for 21 miles; Park will be on your right.
Course
The 5K & 3K & 1.5K races will have the same starting and finish lines. Grass course with sidewalk crossings, marked with flags and paint. We will have course marshals at critical parts of the course. Spikes recommended.
High School Sanctioning
Meet will be open to all AHSAA and FHSAA schools ONLY.
High School Entry Fee
$75 per gender team; if less than five runners, $15 per athlete; $150 max per school
Make all checks payable to Bayside Academy. Please bring either a check or a copy of the purchase order for the entry fee. Schools may mail checks to host school (Bayside). Please visit the registration table to take care of payment and retrieve meet packet.
High School Online Entries
There are two divisions: 1A-4A & 5A-7A, however, there is no distinction between Varsity and JV through online entries. Choose the correct division based on your schools classification. Please submit all athletes that you wish to compete online through Alabama Runners. It will be your responsibility as a coach to properly place your athletes. Max number of athletes to compete in the Varsity races per team is 7.
Entry deadline is Wednesday, September 14 at 11:59PM CDT
High School Awards
Varsity Medals: Top 10 per Division per gender
Junior Varsity Medals: Top 5
Varsity Team Awards: Rotating Plaques Top 2 per Division per gender
Elementary Information
Elementary Entry Fee
Day of competition: $5 per athlete; pay at registration table.
Registered online: Fee will be wavied
Elementary Registration
Day of the meet registration: 6:30-7:10 AM
Elementary Bib Pick-Up
All athletes are required to compete with a racing bib which will be used for identification for results. Pick-up bibs at registration where entry fee is to be paid.
