For track we know a day or two before a meet who is in what race and what heat/flight athletes are in. But, for XC (I am talking about Jesse Owens and other large meets where there are different divisions) we never know what race teams let alone individuals are in until we get there. It would be helpful for coaches and runners to know this a day or so in advance. Knowing that there are over 200 teams at Jesse Owens doesn't really tell us who is in what race-especially when teams enter different individuals in different races. Is there a reason this information is not made available a day or two before race days?

Teams in Cross Country are not seeded in the computer. You might enter a division online -- (and that can affect pricing etc.) but in reality teams are pretty fluid through divisions in an XC Meet that isnt bound by classifications. TLDR: I can tell you WHAT teams are attending but I can't tell you what divisions they might decide to run on race day.
