Track and Field at Texas Southern Relays

MONTGOMERY—The Alabama State University men's and women's track and field teams will travel to Houston, Texas, where they will participate in the TSU Relays hosted by Texas Southern University.

The event will be the second outdoor event of the spring for ASU as they look to build on their seven wins they had last week at the Southern Mississippi University Invitational.

Delorean Peek, Tokeyah Jones, Latrice Lee and Tanisha Boulware all had individual wins last week and the men's 4x400m relay team as well as the women's 4x100m relay team also won first place.

Both teams are looking to build on their outstanding indoor season's which culminated with the women bringing home the SWAC Indoor Championship and the men finishing a strong third.

Following the meet, both teams will be off for spring break with their next meet coming April 8-9 when they travel back to Texas to participate in the Texas Relays hosted by the University of Texas in Austin.
