After another week of track & field action in Alabama, it's time to vote for the MileSplit Alabama boys performer of the week.

Note: Athletes who have been nominated in the past two weeks are not eligible. Previous winners are excluded for the rest of the season.
This Week's Nominees:
Caden Chambliss, Childersburg (Alabama): Won the long jump at the AHSAA 7A Section 3 meet with a leap of 24-3, beating state-ranked Damian Reese of Hoover who entered with a #8 state ranking. The top junior in Alabama in the long jump also competed in the 100, clocking 11.19.
Damian Reese, Hoover (Alabama): Claimed the triple jump title at the AHSAA 7A Section 3 meet with a mark of 50-3. Also competed in two other events, placing fifth in the long jump at 23-0 and throwing 151-3 in the javelin.
Cooper Jeffcoat, Oak Mountain HS (Alabama): Clocked 1:52.47 to win the 800 at the AHSAA 7A Section 3 meet in Hewitt-Trussville. Also doubled back in the 400, running 48.95 for sixth place.
Trevor Caudle, James Clemens (Alabama): Posted a double sprint victory at the AHSAA 6A Section 4 meet in Muscle Shoals, running 10.55 in the 100 and 21.38 in the 200. His 200 time topped the week's competitors statewide, while his 100 ranked second among all Alabama athletes this week.
Carter Castleberry, Winterboro (Alabama): Swept three sprint events at the AHSAA 2A Section 2 meet in Loachapoka, winning the 100 in 10.84, the 200 in 21.52, and the 400 in 49.31. The versatile junior also competed in the high jump, clearing 6-0 for fourth place.
