Track and Field Duo Receive Weekly Honors

MONTGOMERY—Jonathan Franklin and Lutrisha Altodor were named the Southwestern Athletic Conference Track and Field Athletes of the Week by the SWAC office.

The ASU track and field teams competed at the Clemson Invitational over the weekend and Franklin won the 400 meter dash. The junior from Lawrenceville, Ga., finished the dash with a time of 49.58.

Altidor won the 500 meter dash with a time of 25.63. The junior from Apopka, Fla., then competed in the 800 meter dash and finished second in 2:20.59.
