JACKSONVILLE – Jacksonville State's men's tennis team closed out the 2010 Fall schedule at the Murray State Invitational this past weekend and came away with a pair of wins over Murray State and Western Kentucky.

Playing in a dual match and round robin format, JSU opened the weekend with a 4-3 setback to in-state foe Samford, but bounced back to top MSU and WKU on Saturday. The Gamecocks blanked the host Racers and Hilltoppers, 7-0.

The Gamecocks return to action on Jan. 22, 2011 in New Orleans, La. As they face Conference USA member Tulane.
