CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Jacksonville State soccer team dropped its Ohio Valley Conference match with Austin Peay, 1-0, as The Lady Govs scored the match-clinching goal with just 54 seconds left in the game.
APSU's Tatiana Ariza posted the goal in the waning moments of the contest as she scored off a ball from Joceline Quiceno. The tandem of Ariza and Quiceno combined for 12 of APSU's 21 shots in the affair.
The loss drops Jax State to 3-11-1 on the season and 1-4 in OVC play. APSU improved to 10-4-1 overall and 2-2-1 against league competition.
