Jacksonville State University Baseball will be holding three Summer Showcase Camps at Rudy Abbot Field on August 14th, 15th, and August 21st. The camp is open to High School athletes in the graduating classes of 2010–2013.

Each camper will be thoroughly evaluated in both a showcase setting and a game setting. Along with the evaluation portion of the camp, instruction on all phases of the game will be included with this camp. The JSU coaching staff and other college coaches, will be working and evaluating at the camp. The cost of the camp is just $110. The showcase camp will run from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., each day and participants can register each day at 8 a.m.

Jacksonville State Baseball uses its camps as their No. 1 recruiting resource. Last November, JSU signed seven student-athletes to scholarships during the early signing period. Five of those seven were former JSU Baseball Campers. JSU signed three student-athletes alone from the 2009 Summer Showcase Camp. On the 2010-2011 Gamecock roster, we have 19 former campers that will be on the team this upcoming school year.
