DICKSON, Tenn. – Jacksonville State remained third after shooting a 299 during Tuesday's second round of the 2010 Ohio Valley Conference Men's Golf Championship, played at the par-72, 6,858 yard Greystone Golf Club.
Murray State remained in the lead with a total of 581 and holds a 12 shot lead over Austin Peay's total of 593. The Gamecocks are tied with Morehead State for third at 594, while Tennessee Tech is fifth with a 597, followed by UT Martin (599), Eastern Kentucky (601), Tennessee State (602) and Eastern Illinois (609).
Andres Schonbaum leads the Gamecocks with a 2-over 146 and is tied for fifth place.
Tom Robson shot a 1-over 73 on Tuesday for a 147 and is tied for 10th, while Gonzalo Berline is tied for 16th with a 149.
Daniel Glidewell carded a 153 to tie for 28th and
Nathan Bennett turned in a 155 to tie for 35th place.
Murray State's Nick Newcomb shot a 3-under 69 and holds the individual lead with a 2-under 142 in the 54-hole event.
The Gamecocks will tee off at 9:40 a.m., and will play with Austin Peay and Murray State in the final group on Wednesday. Live scoring is available at JSUGamecockSports.com.
