CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - The Jacksonville State softball
team's doubleheader at Southeast Missouri on Sunday, scheduled as a make up for Saturday's rained out games, was canceled because of rain to wash out the entire series between the two schools.
The Gamecocks and Redhawks were scheduled to play two on Saturday and one on Sunday before rain forced the cancellation of Saturday's twinbill. They were set to play a doubleheader Sunday, but the weather didn't cooperate.
JSU will be back in action on Tuesday, when the Gamecocks travel to Auburn, Ala., for a 6 p.m. game with the Tigers. They will be at home on Wednesday for a 6:30 p.m. game with rival Samford.
