JONESBORO, Ark. – Jacksonville State posted a total of 883 to finish 10th at the ASU Red Wolf Intercollegiate, played at the par-72, 7,105 yard Ridge Pointe Country Club on Tuesday.
Middle Tennessee carded a total of 858 to win the 18-team event, while Central Arkansas was second with an 860. Stephen F. Austin was third with an 861, followed by Louisiana-Lafayette (864) and Illinois State was fifth at 867.
Daniel Glidewell led the Gamecocks with a 221 to tie for 40th, while
Tom Robson shot a 222 to tie for 44th.
Nathan Bennett and Andrew Schonbaum each shot a 225 to tie for 56, while
Gonzalo Berlin finished with a 227.
Jacksonville State returns to the course for the 2010 Ohio Valley Conference Men's Golf Championships in two weeks in Dickson, Tenn.
