MORGANTOWN, NC – Jacksonville State shot a total of 621 to finish seventh on Tuesday at the 2010 Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate at the par-72, 5,869-yard Mimosa Hills Golf Club.

First-round team leader, Elon, capitalized on its opening-round, three-stroke advantage over Appalachian State, matching the Mountaineers' final round team 302 to earn the team championship.

Lucia Fernandez shot the low round of day with a 2-under 70 to tie for 10th place with a two-day total of 151. Luz Armijo Fernandez finished tied for 12th with a 152, while Laura Cutler tied for 35th with a 158. Ashley Cox posted a total of 160 and Ornella Arrizon carded a 162.

Jacksonville State returns to the course at the 2010 Ohio Valley Conference Golf Championships on April 21-24 at the Greystone Golf Course in Dickson, Tenn.
