JACKSONVILLE – Game three of the Jacksonville State and Eastern Illinois Ohio Valley Conference softball series was rained out in the bottom of the first inning on Sunday. The game will not be rescheduled.

Eastern Illinois won the series 2-0 sweeping a doubleheader on Saturday by the scores of 3-1 and 6-4.

The Gamecocks return to the diamond against Kennesaw State at 5 p.m. on Tuesday at University Field.
