College of Charleston Snaps JSU Women’s Tennis Win Streak

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston snapped the Jacksonville State women's tennis team's six-match winning streak with a 6-1 win on Sunday at the Tennis Center at Patriots Point.

The Gamecocks fell to 6-6 on the season and will play Charleston Southern on Monday 2 p.m. The 67th ranked College of Charleston improved to 10-5 overall.

Ralphaela Lima, who was named the OVC Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week last week, posted JSU's lone point on the afternoon with a 6-3, 6-7, 1-0 win over Nina Burgoon.
