MOBILE – Jacksonville State finished with a total of 966 to tie for ninth at the USA Lady Jaguar Invitational, played at the par-72, 6,071 yard Azalea City Golf Course on Tuesday.
Memphis finished with a 913 to win the 16-team event by six shots over Florida International's total of 919. Stetson was third (921), followed by Samford and Troy with a total of 938.
Ornella Arrizon led the Gamecocks with a 241 to finish 33rd.
Laura Cutler and
Ashley Cox finished one-shot back with a 242 to tie for 34th. Lucia Fernandez tied for 43rd with a 244, while Luz Armijo Fernandez finished with a 248.
Jacksonville State returns to the course at the Samford Bulldog Lady Intercollegiate on March 16-17.
