The spring track season in Alabama has been on fire, with standout performances from some of the state's top sprinters and jumpers across multiple high-profile meets.

At the Don Heidorn Invitational, Zaria Parker of James Clemens put on a sprinting clinic, winning both the 100m in 11.76 and the 200m in 24.31, setting the tone for a dominant season.

Over at the Wildcat Invitational, Layla Straw of Enterprise High matched that intensity, sprinting to a 1st place finish in the 100m with a time of 11.80.

The Mobile Challenge of Champions, one of the premier meets in the region, saw Janie Ford of St. Paul's Episcopal dominate three events. She leaped 18-6.75 to win the long jump, clocked 14.50 in the 100m hurdles, and blazed through the 100m in 11.68, all earning her 1st place finishes.

In the boys' sprints, Maximilian Johnson from Central-Phenix City took the 100m title at the Prostate Invitational with a jaw-dropping 10.59.

That same time was matched by Jack Stubbs of Vestavia Hills at the Spain Park Classic, where he also captured the 200m win in 21.39, proving his versatility and top-tier speed.

The 4th Annual King of the East saw Oxford High School claim the 4x100m relay crown with a blazing time of 41.88, showcasing incredible team speed and coordination.

Lastly, at the Bob Jones Invitational, Zathian Webster made his mark in the 400m, clocking in at 48.25 for the win.

As the season heats up, these athletes are putting Alabama on the map with elite-level performances that are sure to turn heads as championship season approaches.
