WOODSTOCK, Ga. – The Jacksonville State softball team's Saturday games in the Kennesaw State K-Club Classic have been cancelled because of the snow that hit the Atlanta area on Friday.

Officials will wait to determine whether or not to play Sunday's games if the field conditions improve enough. The area received three to four inches of snow on Friday and temperatures well below freezing have kept the snow from melting. The tournament was scheduled to be played at the Twin Creek Softball Complex in Woodstock, and officials will try to find a way to get games in either there or on Kennesaw State's campus on Sunday.
