JACKSONVILLE – Jacksonville State senior Takisha Parham of Powder Springs, Ga., was selected the Ohio Valley Conference Co-Field Athlete of the Week announced the league office on Monday.

Parham won the long jump at the TSU Tiger Invite with a distance of 18-feet, nine inches, which ranks second on the OVC long jump list. This year's TSU Invite was the largest in the events' history.

Austin Peay's Carrie Burggraf won the pole vault for the Lady Govs at the TSU Tiger Invite with a 3.80 meter (12-05.50) which is the second best height in the OVC. Burggraf has now won the pole vault in two consecutive meets.

Jacksonville State returns to action at the MTSU Valentine Invitational on Saturday in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
