Football Stadium Club Level Seats Available Thursday

JACKSONVILLE – Stadium Club level season tickets for Jacksonville State's 2010 football season in a renovated Paul Snow Stadium will go on-sale to the general public on Thursday during the Gamecocks' nationally televised basketball game at Pete Mathews Coliseum.

The Stadium Club will provide fans with extra-wide stadium seats and prime sideline views of the field, as well as living room style furniture, multiple flat screen televisions, private restrooms and access to elevators.

The Gamecocks home football schedule features five exciting games, including four Ohio Valley Conference matchups, and the home-opener against rival Chattanooga.

The JSU versus Chattanooga series dates back over 100 years to 1904, and the Gamecocks have won four of the last five meetings between the two teams. UTC won six games in 2009, including conference wins over Wofford, Samford, Western Carolina and The Citadel.

“The 2010 football season is going to be very exciting for the Gamecocks,” JSU Athletics Director Oval Jaynes said. “The Club Level seats will offer our fans the best seats in the house to watch the Gamecocks. It will also many exclusive benefits that our fans have asked for.”

Jax State, which posted the best record in the Ohio Valley Conference this year with an 8-3 mark, also has home games against Murray State (Oct. 2), Tennessee State (Oct. 16), Austin Peay (Oct. 23) and Southeast Missouri State (Nov. 13).

Paul Snow Stadium, home of the Gamecocks since 1947, is currently in the midst of a $47 million expansion. The new facility will consist of seven stories, with the bottom four floors dedicated to nearly 400 dorm beds.

The top three floors will include 33 luxury skyboxes, a new press area, coaches booths, radio and television broadcast facilities, and a game management booth. The stadium will also include the addition of seats that will push the capacity of Paul Snow Stadium to 24,000.
