Senior Sendoff: Bradyn Coarsey - McGill Toolen

High School: McGill - Toolen

What was your most memorable meet and why?
Freshman Year Indoor State 2018 I was the 7A State Champion as a freshman

Where did you face your biggest competition?
Any meet when the teams from the north came and competed. State was always the hardest meet I went to.

Out of all of your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most and why?
I went to every state since 8th grade outdoor. Not many people get the opportunity to compete against such great athletes so many times and it was an honor for me to be able to be able to be at such a high level so young.

If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your running career in high school?
I would participate in the 400m. I had the tools to be better but never used them.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome during your HS Track career?
the friends I have made over the years in the sport. I'm leaving many close friends that are younger than me and it was a hard good-bye this year at state.

What will you miss the most?
the friends I have made over the years in the sport. I'm leaving many close friends that are younger than me and it was a hard good-bye this year at state.

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
Never slack off. Treat every practice like it is the Olympic games.

What are your post-high school or college plans? Who would you like to say thank you to?
I will be attending the University of South Alabama where I will be majoring in Biology on the Pre-Med track to become a Dermatologist. I will also be competing on the Track Team to compete in Pole Vault and Triple Jump.
