Chanice Spicer concluded the Southeast AAU Track and Field Indoor Invitational last week with not only two personal bests in the 60m and 200m sprints, but also a US No. 1 in the 400m.

The Alabama signee ran a 7.57 in the prelims in the 60m, lowering her previous best from a 7.61 and then finished second in the finals behind St. Dominic Savio Catholic's Autumn Wilson with a 7.58.

In the 200m, she brought the heat from lane six and stopped the clock in 24.24 against a stacked field, winning by nearly half a second.

For her efforts, the Brewbaker Tech (AL) senior won Week 2 of the NPOTW honor, totaling 636 tallies, which earned about 40-percent of the votes. A huge congratulations goes out to Spicer on her success on her second meet of the 2021 indoor season.
