AL State's Coach Beene to Head Lunch and Learn

We thought it was important that we sent this out early so you can start making your plans. This year's Track & Field Coaching Mini-Clinic will be held on Wednesday, November 6, and will feature coaches from Alabama State University Track & Field. You will not want to miss the outstanding opportunity to hear from one of the state's premiere coaching staffs. Registration is available online at www.ahsaa.com. The agenda for the mini-clinic is featured on the second page of this correspondence.

Coach Ritchie Beene from Alabama State University and his staff are the guest speakers. Ritchie Beene enters his 13th year at the helm of the men's and women's track & field program, and 23th overall with Alabama State University (ASU) as the 2019-20 season gets underway. Beene became the all-time winningest coach in indoor track and field when the men and women swept the SWAC indoor championships in 2019. He would later go on the lead the sweep of the SWAC outdoor championships, after winning the women's cross country title to give the program five championships in six events during the 2018-19 season.

Cost of the clinic is only $30 and includes lunch. This price will be good through Friday, November 1st. On-site registration is $40, so pre-register (with payment) to save that extra $10 and reserve your seat. Go to www.ahsaa.com, look for the Lunch & Learn advertisement and follow the prompts to register. We look forward to seeing you soon.
