What was your most memorable meet and why? The 2017 State Cross-Country Championship, Our team was the closest it had ever been and everyone on our team ran their hearts out and we won.
Where did you face your biggest competition? I have been on 4 cross country trips, although the one that stood out was the FLRunnners Invite in Lakeland, Florida. The whole course was flat and the runners there ran so crazily it was insane.
Out of all of your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most and why? Although I have had a few All-state medals, the real accomplishment for me is becoming the runner I never thought that I would be.
If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your running career in high school? There are many things that I felt that maybe could have been more active in the summer in between outdoor and cross.
What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome during your HS Track career? Fortunately, I never got injured though I had Osgood-Schlatters off and on throughout my career
What will you miss the most? My Team
Do you have any advice for younger athletes? Once your junior season comes around its game time.
What are your post-highschool or college plans? I am going to run at the University of Montevallo.
