React Quickly! These 55m Dashes Are Going To Be The Quickest In The Nation

The 55m dash is an event that has little-to-no room for error. That will only be amplified in the 2018 VA Showcase where the nation's quickest sprinters will square off both in the girls and boys final. Thus far some of the biggest names have already entered in what should be the ultimate pre-Nationals race for glory.

The biggest name thus far on the sprint side to enter is Pennsylvania's Thelma Davies. She is only a junior but yet boasts a monstrous 6.82 personal best. That time enters the season US #1 amongst fellow returners and puts her within one perfect start of the 6.68 national record.

On the boys' side things are just as fast with Cole Beck and Donovan Louis amongst others. Cole enters having run the fastest time and boasting a very quick 10.41 in the open 100m. Donovan though enters seeded fourth but with the highest potential in the country. This will be his first indoor season where he did not play football in the Fall. Buckle up for this one because not only is VA bringing it, many other states are bringing it as well.

Last year saw some fast times but most importantly also saw the eventual National Champion, Jayla Kirkland compete. That means if you win this race you set yourself up very well to go on to win the national title as well... that is how good these races are.

Check out the early entries below based on our virtual meet. These are last year's times and expected to be faster as well will be joined by newer entries.
