Adriana Poole of Sparkman High School in Harvest. Alabama signed with Mississippi State University to contiune her track and cross country carreer. She has a milesplit best times of 18.:43.67 for 5K in Cross Country and 11:38.43 for 3200 meters and 5:28.93 for 1600 meters in Track.
In an interview with her she stated that she decided on Mississippi State because the Coachs seem to really care for her track ambitions and that the girls she met from the team were very friendly and supportive of her joining the team. Adriana was recruited by many of the college teams in Alabama but choose Mississippi State. She plans to Major in Business Law with a minor in Political Science while at State and hopes to continure on to become a Lawyer after her athletic carreer is over.
Adriana has a 3.3 GPA and currently has an ACT of 22 which she hopes to improve to at least a 24 by the end of the school year. She was not just a Cross Country and Track athlete all of her carreer. Up until her sophomore year she also played backetball and was on her school team that won the Alabama State High School 6A Championships.
