Scouting Report: Randolph School Girls

You return a top 5 with a team average of 21:18 this year.  How does the team look after summer practices so far?
A:  The girls are actually looking pretty good!  We took a good group up to the Brevard Distance Running Camp a few weeks ago and they really trained hard and bonded well.  They are for the most part, very positive and really focused for this new 5A challenge!

Any new additions to the team or surprises we can expect?
A: We have some very young, very talented, and very new middle school girls that will eventually help us out towards the middle to the end of the season.  They along with a few late additions to the squad should make us pretty competitive.

What is your schedule this season and are you changing anything up?
A: This year we are headed down to University of Montevallo for the Early Bird Twilight Classic Under the Lights on August 29th for the first time.  We will also head to the McCallie Invitational in Chattanooga on September 27th.  Other than those two meets, we will stay close to home.

What goals has your team established for this season?
A:  Positive attitude and team unity are the corner stones and motto's this year's Randolph Lady Raider's.  The girls who have been training together are super stoked and ready for the very tough task ahead.  Everything will have to be earned and absolutely nothing will be easy.
