Scouting Report: Randolph Boys

You return a top 5 with a team average of 17:29 this year.  How does the team look after summer practices so far?
We look okay with some very strong freshman coming up to help us out (Matthew Phillips & Luke Welborn).  Senior Grant Ginsburg (as long as he stays healthy) will be one of our bright spots with the upper class men.  We will find out how everyone's summer training really went after we do our annual pre-season team time trial in a couple weeks!

Any new additions to the team or surprises we can expect?
No surprises that I know of yet.  I am just hoping that each member of the team enters this season with the same drive they left with last year's season.  I am a realist and do not expect miracles early in the season, but I do expect drive, discipline, and team unity.  Without those three key elements we are dead in the water and I believe most of team is on that same page.

What is your schedule this season and are you changing anything up?
A: This year we are headed down to University of Montevallo for the Early Bird Twilight Classic Under the Lights on August 29th for the first time.  We will also head to the McCallie Invitational in Chattanooga on September 27th.  Other than those two meets, we will stay close to home.

What goals has your team established for this season?
We are really trying to build team unity this year.  Once this is accomplished I believe the sky is the limit.  We have a HUGE task ahead of us once we get into late October and early November and the kids know it.  Everything will have to be earned and absolutely nothing will be easy.
