What was your most memorable meet and why?
My most memorable meet was the Blount invitational because I broke my PR in the 400 and the Sectional meet because I came 2nd place in high jump and finally got to state.
Where did you face your biggest competition?
I faced my biggest competition in Hattiesburg, Mississippi at the 2012 Golden Eagle High School Classic
Out of all of your high school accomplishments which stands out the most and why?
My high school accomplishment that stood out the most was making it to State. I made it last year but I couldn't go because I twist my knee and had to get surgery. I've always wanted to go and I finally made it!
If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?
I would change my choice of events and practice effort.
What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
Breaking my PR in high jump and the 400 meter
What will you miss the most?
Something I will miss the most are my teammates and coach I've worked with through out my 4 years of high school. Also I will miss high Jump and the 4x4
Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
Yes, do not be cocky when you are faster then somebody cause it can always catch up to you. Also, when you have your focus on a event that you love or like, give it your all. Practice at it & Get better for yourself because you are your own competition.
What are your post-highschool or college plans?
My plans are to go to Faulkner community college then transfer to either Troy U or the university Southern Miss
Who would you like to say thank you to?
Hmm... I would really like to say thank you to God and my coaches for helping me making it this far. Also, my teammates for the encouragement and the memories we made at every track meet. It was really Fun!
