Six school records were set as the UAH track teams opened the 2007 outdoor season on Saturday. Freshman Kyle Dyar (Albertville) led the way for the Chargers setting three UAH men\'s marks in the field events. He established records for he high jump (5 ft 8 in), javelin (44.60m) and discus (36.60m).

The Lady Chargers won in impressive fashion at the Depauw Invitational, scoring points in every running event and taking first place with 140 points. Greenville finished second with 112 points, while Rhodes was third with 90, and Cumberland tied Depauw for fourth with 65 points.
